With the Hanna-Westside game on tap for this week, what makes this such a heated rivalry?
Besides the usual cross-town reasons, why is this one better than Dorman-Spartanburg, Summerville-Fort Dorchester, Fort Mill-Rock Hill?
Westside fans, what gets you fired up about the Jackets? Hanna fans, why do you hate the Rams?

Hate to tell you but the CHS v PHS is not a rivalry anything like WHS v TLH.
I would imagine there are more fans at these 2 games than all of Crescent or Palmetto's for the entire year. It carries over to work places, families, friends and so on. I actually think it is more of a rivalry between the fans than the students and teams.
Both schools pride themselves on "trashing" the other school with t shirts and slogans just for that game, heck Westside even has a rap song about it as well.
